Lucy Lawless, best known for her role in TV's Xena: Warrior Princess, will be the celebrity starter for the Los Angeles
Frontrunners' 23rd Annual Run/Walk for Gay and Lesbian Pride on Sunday, June 20, in West Hollywood. The race, open to
everyone, will start at 8 a.m. on Santa Monica Blvd. at Robertson. Race categories include 5K and 10K runs and a 5K walk.
Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in each category, plus the top three male and female finishers in
various age group categories. There will be a raffle after the race, and registrants can win prizes, which include three pairs of
k.d. lang concert tickets. Proceeds from the race will benefit Project Angel Food and Gay and Lesbian Adolescent Social
Services.

West Hollywood, CA 90069. General registration costs $20, $15 for students, before June 11. After that date, the fees are $25
for general registration and $20 for students. A valid student ID must be shown on race day to qualify for the student rate.
