Catch it while it lasts ... because "the buzz" isn't very good for this modern take on the Edgar Rice Burroughs stories. Two
decades ago, young John Clayton's (Travis Fimmel) parents died in a plane crash and left him all alone in the African jungle --
where he was raised by various and sundry wild animals. Ultimately, he's captured by his billionaire uncle ("The X-Files'" Mitch
Pileggi) and brought back to the urban jungle of New York City. Strong-willed detective Jane Porter (Sarah Wayne Callies) finds
her life turning upside-down when she's assigned to a case that conveniently leads her to the primal (yet smokin' hot) "Tarzan."
Also starring Miguel A. Nunez Jr. and (in later episodes) Lucy Lawless.
