| Crystal's Fan Fiction Reviews - D - Review for: Daughter of Eqypt Author: Shadowriter 117 Pages Uber Charani Award for Diversity Posted at The Academy of Bards: http://ils.merwolf.com/academy/fanfic/s/shadowriter_doe1.html Daughters of Egypt by Shadowriter is a riveting story that intertwines Ancient Egyptian mythology of immortality with the turn of the 20th century. I felt myself transported back in time and actually living the story as a spectator. This is an excellent and entertaining piece of work! ========== Review for: Desert Hawk Author: Archangel Uber Charani Award for Diversity Posted at: http://www.geocities.com/Samruskin2000/ Desert Hawk by Archangel is a creative tale written by a new and upcoming bard. Desert Hawk introduces us to Dylan Hawk, a young woman who is part Native American. The struggle and complications of her family upbringing combined with her dual heritage are interwoven in an engaging plot that is filled with depth and imagery. Archangel has managed to incorporate the vast struggles surrounding dual heritage while also delivering an entertaining work of fiction. Because of this, it fulfills the objective of the Charani Award of Excellence for the incorporation of ethnic diversity. ========== Review for: Desert Wind Rising Author: Tragedy88 35 Pages Uber Charani Award for Diversity Posted At The Academy of Bards: http://ils.merwolf.com/academy/fanfic/t/trag_desert.html From start to finish, Desert Wind Rising is a tale filled with such imagination and intrigue that I could not put it down until the entire tale was read. Not only does it include the incorporation of reincarnation, but it does it in such a way as to convince the reader of its validity within the story. Desert Wind Rising not only falls within the goals of the Charani Award of incorporation, but also remains true to the Xena format and to the concept that soul mates will always be reunited throughout eternity. ========== Review for: Doggie Door Follies Author: Nyrdgyrl 10 Pages Uber Charani Award for Diversity Posted At The Athenaeum: http://xenafiction.net/scrolls/nyrdgyrl_ddf.hts ========== |
