Comments about the story, Ruby's Cafe from Al Young, an award winning, world renowned novelist:
"Ah, you are a storyteller," and "This is rich material!" and his final written comment was, "You've done
a   splendid job of telling this saddening story of your grandfather's loss, a "loss" that alerted him to his
true living treasure. You have a talent for narrative and storytelling that I hope you will develop by
writing more about your family and your own experiences."

Sleep Comes Too Late (August 2004/2005)      links fixed 5.6.2005
As many of you may have heard, Dare 2 Dream, which originally signed for the rights to publish my
vampire story, "Sleep Comes too Late," changed hands and is now Blue Feather Books.  After receiving
their welcome letter that outlined their objectives last week, and after a great deal of discussions with my
spouse, Jessica, I have decided to amicably terminate my contract with D2D, now
Blue Feather Books.
Owing to the fact that this story is not woman or lesbian centered, I felt that a disservice would have
befallen their target audience had we continued with the business relationship. This separation was at my
behest, and Blue Feather Books' agreed to dissolve the contract for "Sleep Comes too Late."

Just as they have wished me success at publishing this manuscript, I wish them all the best with their
future endeavors.
