Dia De Los Muertos - Day of the Dead
Title:  Day of the Dead
Medium: Paper Mache
Paint: Acrylic
Coating: None
Measurements:
This was made for a project in my American Religion class and
was made in honor of my grandmother who passed away.  It was
used in a class presentation on Dias De Los Muertos, The Day of
the Dead Celebration which is still honored in Mexico.
This is how it looks after the mask dried.  The
paint is Acrylic and it's design could be
whatever the creator wishes it to be.
This is the finished product of the mask.  The feathers are
the eye of Peacock feathers.  In the centerpiece, I used a
faux red ruby to incorporate my studies of the asian religions
regarding the power of the third eye.
