incorporate at least on other art medium and create something that shows
what we love, or someone whom we admire. We were to include a quote
that would convey the mood of the piece.
As a long time admirer or the East Indian poet, Mirabai, I decided to
include one of her poems. I intentionally made the placard tan in hopes to
make it look older than what is actually is. The incorporation of Ganesh
was natural, as I view him to be one of the most important Gods, next to
Krishna.
knew what I was going to do with it. Once the project came up, I was
finally able to utilize this unique bronze piece. In this placard I see the
male figure as Khrisna, and the woman next to him is Mirabai.
